published in other formats. Each has its own purpose. Ebooks are
the newest trend in publishing. Ebooks are generally online courses
or tutorials. Anyone can publish an ebook - all you need is a word
processor and a PDF converter. People write and publish ebooks to give
away in order to sell products, they publish ebooks to
sell; professional development guides, curriculum plans, gardening
manuals and how-to books for every subject. Ebooks are great
resources of quick information.
Electronic versions of books have become more popular than ever, as well. For
awhile, electronic books were not as popular as their paper
counterparts because the 'quality' of readers was not high.

reading. The Kindle allows you to switch effortlessly between books
or publications. You can purchase new items to read at any time. It
is portable, holds its charge, and easy on the eyes.

Tips for Success
- Share
what you know. Ebooks are a great way to share what you know with
fellow readers, writers, business people and tradesmen. You can
write and publish your own ebook easily and sell it or give it away
on your website. Either way, you can use your own ebook to generate
more income.
- Learn from others. Ebooks are a step up from online articles, but not as
time consuming to read as full-length books. Research subjects that
interest you or will benefit you and read all of the ebooks you can.
(Especially the free ones.)
- Try an electronic book reader. If you devour books, but have a bad
habit of not returning them to the library, or an income that won't
support constant book purchasing, an electronic book reader can save
you money. Take advantage of free electronic books, and the less
expensive price of buying books electronically. Also, a reader that
is small enough to constantly carry will facilitate your ability to
read more.
- Before settling on an electronic reader, decide how you will want to
purchase the books you read, and which format you would like to use.
- Use the free electronic book libraries to branch out and try books you
might never have read in a printed version. Electronic book readers
provide some degree of anonymity, so nobody has to know what you are
reading!
