After canvassing the web for the top five sites in over 20 other
categories, locating and including over a hundred websites packed
full of useful information, we still had some can't miss resources
left over. These are the resources that did not fit neatly into the
other categories, but we still feel offer valuable resources for
readers. These resource include informational sites, online
magazines, sites for aspiring writers, and novel approaches to
keeping in touch with the world at large. Enjoy!

Helium is free to join. It is a great place to practice writing, share thoughts, and make a few pennies (literally) on the side. If freelance writing is an eventual goal for you, Helium is a great place to start. 43 Things: www.43things.com 43 Things is a social networking site, but is different than many others. It is basically an online to-do list, or list of goals posted by different people. Site members may post their goals and post progress reports, receive praise and encouragement from other members and find new goals and experiences to pursue. Unlike facebook or myspace, the premise is pretty simple—make a list of goals and then start meeting them, only with 43 things, your support-group is world-wide. Frugal Fun and associated websites: www.frugalfun.com Frugal fun has lots of interesting articles about inexpensive ways to have fun and tips for saving money. They have some business and marketing content, as well, and offer e-books for sale; however, their tips and articles are helpful, and are written by un-paid writers speaking from experience. Twitter.com: www.twitter.com Twitter.com is the micro-blog website for busy people who want to keep in touch. It is a super way to send messages to friends and family, co-workers and the like. Twitter also helps manage constant communication by filtering instant messages and other e-communication. Twitter helps people stay in touch without losing their minds! Mental Floss: http://www.mentalfloss.com The website for mental floss is a trivia-lover’s paradise. On any given day you can read about myths of modern icons, news from the weird, the worst interns ever, the ingredients of mock turtle soup, and take quizzes about almost every un-imaginable subject imaginable. Del.icio.us: del.icio.us The term 'Social Networking' Del.icio.us is actually a helpful website that allows web browsers to bookmark their favorite sites online so that they can have access to them anywhere and everywhere. It is a great way to keep all of the super internet resources that you find (and that we have found for you) at your fingertips. Tips for Success
